Watershed District
The Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District (RWMWD) is a special purpose governmental unit responsible for protecting the water resources of the watershed, located in the eastern portion of Ramsey County and the western edge of Washington County, Minnesota. As part of our mission to protect and enhance our waters, RWMWD encourages water-friendly land care practices. We partner with other organizations to sponsor workshops and other land care educational events. In addition, we offer cost-share grants to property owners interested in creating rain gardens or installing other clean water protective practices.
