Big River Big Woods is a chapter of Wild Ones. We draw members primarily from St. Paul and neighboring communities. We teach people about the importance of native plants for the health of the environment and everything living in it. Our goal is to get more native plants in the ground in all landscapes - homes, businesses, schools, and more.
We hold monthly chapter meetings on the fourth Thursday of the month in January,February, March, April, May, September, October, and November. We sponsor tours of gardens, parks, and other habitats in June, July, and August. We host Wild Ones Walks, informal explorations of local parks, most months. We also have a native plant sale in the late spring.
Chapter meetings are held virtually or at Autumn Grove Park, 1365 Lydia Avenue West, Roseville, MN, from 6:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Meetings are free of charge and open to the general public.
